IQPC has announced the first round of finalists for its upcoming business process excellence awards ceremony.
The organisation has recognised companies across eight categories in its Annual Process Excellence Awards, including individual programme and project entries relating to Lean Six Sigma and other standards.
Companies including Xerox, Motorola, Braskem and Capgemini Business Services are among those put forward for awards, alongside other firms such as Daimler Vehiculos and Rockwell Collins.
Megan James, summit and awards director for IQPC, said: "This year has seen an unprecedented number of entries from new businesses despite the recession.
"All of Business Process Excellence Award finalists have achieved great success through their respective improvement programs and we are honoured to recognise these Six Sigma leaders."
Earlier this month, Liaison Technologies announced the launch of a new methodology designed to help firms reach business process excellence.
The process management solutions provider's Path to Process Excellence guidelines are designed to speed up the adoption of technology that could improve a company's services.
